It's been a year since the last major game update and everyone who plays has been looking forward to the 4.0 expansion. Their are several reasons why: the game will be adding 2 new classes, the gunner and the bard ( songweaver), as well as the addition of new zones and instances that go with a major update.
Lets start with the new classes: The gunner will be a leather class and by reports of those who've been playing 4.0 already on the other side of the world, its going to be a
mix between the assassin and the ranger and possibly the sorc. The songweaver is a
new cloth class and from what I've read, they'll have heals and magic skills, something like a mixture of cleric skills and sm skills.
As far as the new instances are concerned, there will be quite a few. My good friend Raxu, who also writes an Aion blog, wrote a cool page about the 4.0 update. He worked hard to translate the patch notes from the Korean so that he and his readers can have a better idea of what to expect from the update. Its well worth your time to check out.
